Volunteering

All of the Centre Vale Park projects either rely at the moment on volunteers to help or will as projects are delivered.

Anyone can volunteer. It can be very rewarding and is a great way to:

  • meet new people
  • gain new or use existing skills
  • get experience
  • make a big difference to your community

Each project is different and each will have a range of activities that may suit your interest, skills or experience.

Involvement can range from just a few hours per week to those wanting to help with the running and organisation of activities and the administration behind it all.

Things don’t just happen- they need like-minded people of good intent, kindness and a willingness to help others and the community at large.

Todmorden already has a strong ethos for volunteer involvement evidenced in so many ways locally from the Book Festival to Hippodrome Theatre to Todmorden’s volunteer lead Food Banks.

All of the groups involved in the Centre Vale Projects are keen to welcome volunteers.

Some groups already established have web sites which outline what they do, due course.

In the meantime, if you would like to volunteer for any of these projects please do contact the following representatives for each group as follows:-
